We went to Anak Kanpung Borneo Pub & Bistro (AKB) at 2 am in the morning to join our BFFs 'lepak2' here. Our friend Larry & Ciciy, who are also the staff of AKB sent request to the band on stage to greet Andy & I with a Happy Birthday song. We were called to be on stage as an honour for drink a toast. By the way, it was a belated birthday for both of us.
Located at Taman Segar Perdana, Cheras, AKB was founded in Nov. 25, 2012. The name "Anak Kampung Borneo" inspired by the Sabah & Sarawak people who come to Semenanjung Malaysia and most of them are from "kampung2".
For me, AKB is not just a small club to drink & get drunk... I look at it as a place to celebrate friendship, as we did today.
